10/4/10 - FHANA keuring at the Virginia Horse Center. For keuring information go to http://www.fhana.com/inspections/. The cost per stall will be $30 per night and you must bring or buy your own shavings and stall clean up will be done by the Horse Park. MAFA will be sending out keuring packets to those showing horses at the MAFA keuring later. As always volunteers will be much needed. Please let us know if you can help. If you would like to bring horses to participate, contact Jessica Mendoza at mendozadressage@gmail.com.

10/29/10 - 10/31/10 - MAFA is hosting the FHANA booth at the Equine Extravaganza show in Doswell, Va. We have lots of fun things planned and are honored to have Julio Mendoza heading up our breed demos and stallion parades. If you're a FHANA member and would like to help out at the booth, email Lisa at believersrwe@embarqmail.com.
1/13/10 - FHANA is having a Chapter of the Year contest where all the Friesian Clubs will compete to earn points. At the end of the year we will tally up the points to see if we have won the contest. The prize for this is $500 put towards your club to bring in a clinician. These points can be attained doing things that promote the Friesian breed: showing, demos, publications, videos, volunteering, etc. More info to come by email. And please ANY shows, demos, volunteering that you do, email Jessica Mendoza at shoe493@hotmail.com with your information so we can keep track of our points!
